Tiny steps.

Today I dropped off the kids with Becky's folks like
I do every Monday & Wednesday. Ty took off like
he does and then I handed Casey off with Becky's dad.
I waved and said bye-bye as I walked back to the car
like usual, not expecting any response, because,
y'know, autism!
I was halfway around the Element when I heard a little voice say, "Bye!" I paused for a second, trying to figure out if I heard what I thought it was, and then I ran back around to see Casey and Grandpa still at the doorway. I go, "Casey? Did you just say 'bye' to me?"
He said "Bye! Bye!" and waved!
Made my day.
